Green River and The Canyonlands National Park
Page 3
Journal entry May 2007, somewhere in South East Utah. One of the fantastic views from up on the rocks at our campsite.

But the next day brings a new morning with another 30 miles to log so off we go.

And we go deeper into the Canyonlands legally proceeding past the Courthouse bluff.

There are many natural amphitheatres such as this one..

We're in awe most of the day.

We stop at the river register. Here are the marks of many "explorers" through out the decades. Some of the etchings date back to Powell's time, one of the first explorers of European decent.

A rusty bulldozer is left at the site of an old uranium mine.

And Barb slides by on the river.

A little later the rest of our group follows and the breezes begin to turn to wind gusts.
